the film accurately portrays through pantomime the basis of our environmental problems: the choices we make, exploiting our various energy slaves to indulge in wish fulfillment without thinking through what's at stake. Almost forty years later, I am still impressed with the film's prescient point of view. It played various festivals (it was shown at the inaugural Telluride Film Festival in August of 1974), won awards for direction and animation from ASIFA-East in 1975, and was distributed to theaters for free at the time, but has been rarely seen since.
