Description de la vidéo

Working on the Volvo Ocean Race 2014/15 was quite an adventure. A 10 month stint in Spain based at the Race Head Quarters in Alicante. I worked across 39 weekly highlights episodes following the adventures of the teams and crew as they set off on their epic attempts to race around the world, across 4 oceans and 5 continents over 9 months.

Many weeks I would be based in the edit suits with the edit team programme planning and managing the stream of content we were receiving on a daily basis. Story lining and edit producing. Other weeks I would be off at a moments notice to cover a story across the other side of the world...
This closing montage was cut by one of our lead editors Jordi Esgleas who helped us format the show and captures the moments that reveal why it is still such a unique privilege and adventure to sail all the way around the world.
It was my idea to close out the series with a stripped back title sequence sharing a candid moment captured on board the winning boat by their onboard reporter Matt Knighton as the team neared the end of the race and prepared for the final fanfare in Gothenburg.
