Description de la vidéo

Generation X is the next group of senior managers and middle managers and they’re going to be the ones that have to manage this kind of sandwiching of other generations. And so that’s a new phenomenon as well, because the generation X was not necessarily given management status as much, because the baby boomers were still in charge. And so we’re going to see… it’s very interesting. I don’t know… When we talk about the uncertainties of the future, that is a big one. Generation blend and how the generations are going to work together, is going to be interesting to watch. One of the things we suggest is this idea we call “reciprocal mentoring”, because as the baby boomers leave the workforce, what they know and what’s important and is still critical that they know, needs to be transferred to younger people. And by bringing in younger people and matching them up with older employees, and then having them teach other. Because the millennials, unlike former or previous groups of workers, know more about technology – they may not know as much about the business, but they do know more about technology, and they can actually teach people better.
